Do I need to have my books in order before starting?
No — in fact, most clients come to us precisely because their numbers are a mess. We start from wherever you are. If you have a P&L and a price list, we have enough to start. We'll build the rest together.
What's the minimum commitment?
There is no lock-in contract on any coaching package. However, we recommend a minimum of 3–6 months to see meaningful, sustainable results. Real change in a business takes more than one or two sessions. The Discovery Call is completely free and obligation-free.
I'm not in Melbourne — can I still work with you?
Yes — all coaching sessions are via Zoom. We work with salon owners across Australia. The Financial Intensive and 2-Day Course can also be delivered remotely where in-person isn't possible.
How is this different from a generic business coach?
We still run our own salons. We are not coaches who used to be in the industry — we are salon owners who coach. Every benchmark, every formula, every system we teach comes from 23 years of running actual salons in Australia. We know the Hair and Beauty Award, the SGC obligations, the supplier terms, the software. Generic business coaches don't.
What size salon do you work with?
Bronze is suited to small salons and solo operators under $1m turnover. Silver suits medium and growing salons. Gold requires a minimum of $500k turnover and is designed for salons scaling toward $1m+. We consult to salons turning over $2m+ and have coached over 100 salon businesses at all sizes.
Will you look at my actual financials?
Yes — that's the whole point. Generic advice based on industry averages is not coaching. We work from your actual P&L, your actual wage costs, your actual price list. Silver and Gold coaching requires access to your Xero or bookkeeping software so we can monitor in real time.
What if I can't afford ongoing coaching right now?
Start with the Financial Business Audit — it's a one-off investment that gives you a full diagnosis and 12-month action plan. Many clients use the audit to identify savings and revenue opportunities that fund their coaching investment. Alternatively, the free guide and Discovery Call cost nothing.
